Epidemiologist
About Me
I am an epidemiologist and public health specialist completing a PhD at Imperial College London. My work explores the barriers and facilitators of access to HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) among underserved populations in England with a focus on Patient, Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE).
I am also the programme manager for the Gay Men's Sexual Health Survey 2022 and is a member of the BHIVA/BASHH PrEP guidelines writing group.

I previously worked as a data analyst and manager for the PrEP Impact Trial where we quickly realised that PrEP delivery was very inequitable, which led me to wonder how to make PrEP access more equitable: my research on the prophylaxis encompasses a range of methods – evidence synthesis, statistical analysis of both trial and routine sexual health data, participatory approaches with key populations – and has also allowed him to work together with key stakeholders on guideline development and policy.

"Of all the forms of inequality,
injustice in health care is the
most shocking and inhumane."
Martin Luther King Jr.
